The Ghorepani Poonhill region lies inside the Annapurna Conservation Area and is a protected region from urban pollution. The Ghorepani is a big village residing at the elevation of 2874meters with highlighted feature of having many lodges to get rest and meals for the travelers on the way. The Ghorepani village is the transit to Poonhill viewpoint, Ghandruk village, Annapurna Base Camp for travelers to get rest and meal.The Poonhill viewpoint is a 45minutes walk from Ghorepani village which lies at the elevation of 3210meters. The Ghorepani Poonhill region is a beautiful place with green nature, beautiful landscape, friendly locales and traditional villages, fascinating surrounding of green mountains along with white Himalayas of Annapurna, Gangapurna, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri and other Himalayas. The Ghorepani Poonhill trek is a short trekking destination from Pokhara city that is closest to Himalayas and tourists can witness the white Himalayas from their focal eye sight. The Ghorepani is a beautiful green village which can reached in 10 hours straight forward walking by experienced trekkers from the village of Birenthati. The general trekker takes slow pace by starting trekking from Nayapul then taking rest at Birenthati. Then they start trekking towards Ghorepani where they can take rest on the way if they like as the trekking trail is full of hotel and lodges for easy going trekking experience. After an hour drive to Birethanti, a large and prosperous town beside the Modi River.you head up the main trail to Ramgai and Sudame where you climb gradually up the side of the valley, reaching Hile (1495m) before pushing on to Tikhe Dhunga(1575m), from here the trail crosses a stream (Bhrungdi Khola) and then ascends a steep stone staircase to the large Magar village at Ulleri.Overnight at Lodge.<br \/>\n<strong>Day 05:<\/strong> Ulleri to Ghorepani (2850m) 5 hrs\u2028This is a pleasant walking day today.you trek through rhododendron (Nepali National Flower) and oak forests and across streams before making a short, final climb to Nangethant, From Nangethanti you head up to Ghorepani.This day, you will see some birds and some mamals too.Overnight at Lodge.<br \/>\n<strong>Day 06:<\/strong> Ghorepani to Poon Hill to Tadapani (2520m).5 hrs\u2028An early start and 45 minutes hiking to Poon Hill (3210m) leads you to a brilliant spectacle, this vantage point provides an unobstructed view of sunrise over the high Himalayas.from here you can not only see the sunrise but also the panoramic views of Himalayas including Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091 m), Mt. Nilgiri (7040m), Annapurna south (7219 m),Annapurna II (7937 m), Annapurna III (7555 m), Annapurna IV (7525 m), Hiunchuli (6441 m), fishtail or Machhapuchhare (6998m), Lamjung Himal (6986m), Tukuche peak (6920 m), Dhampus peak (6012m) among others. One can also see various kinds of butterflies and enjoy with the blend of culture and traditions of various ethnic groups such as Bramin ,Chhetri, Magar, and Gurung and making the trips to the areas, your trekking starts and ends in Pokhara.After spending about 40 minutes on the hillside,you come back down hotel to have a hot and fresh breakfast, and start walking to Tadapani. From Ghorepani the trail climbs along ridges and through pine,Oak,Juniper and rhododendron forests to Deurali (2960 m).You descend to reach next Banthanti, before winding your way to Tadapani(2540m).Overnight at Lodge.<br \/>\n<strong>Day 07:<\/strong> Tadapani to Ghaundruk (1950m) 4 hrs\u2028During this day, you will trek through the forests with mountain view.Your descent brings you to the village of Ghandruk village around noon so you can visit Gurung village, Gurung museum.
